Itinerary (Day Wise)
Welcome to India’s capital city! Upon arrival you are welcomed with a traditional
Indian greeting before being escorted to your hotel.
Embark on the first of your India tours to explore both Old and New Delhi. Visit Old Delhi
covering the Red Fort, Raj Ghat and the mile-long Chandni Chowk bazaar. In the afternoon
tour New Delhi as you drive along Rajpath to view the Parliament House, the President’s
House and India Gate. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and Birla Temple. (B)
Today fly to Varanasi (India’s holiest city), located on the sacred Ganges River. upon
arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon visit the stupas,
ruins and museum at Sarnath, scene of Buddha’s first sermon. In the evening
proceed to the ghats in cycle rickshaws to witness the evening aarti ceremony.
In the early morning, enjoy the sunrise on the Ganges River with a boat ride followed
by a walking tour of the old city. Later drive to Ayodhya and in the the evening visit
Lord Rama Temple and city tour.
After the breakfast drive to Agra, upon arrival you are met and transferred to your
hotel.
After breakfast drive to visit the Radha Raman Temple, ISKCON temple, and
other Temples in Vrindavan, continue to Mathura and visit the Shri Krishna
Janmabhoomi temple, Dwarkadhish Temple and Vishram Ghat in Mathura.
Early morning visits the magnificent Taj Mahal for a sunrise view. After breakfast visit the
Agra Fort followed by your drive to Ranthambhore national park, en route visiting the
abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel.
After breakfast visit the former royal hunting ground now renowned as National Park home
to animals like tigers, leopards, jackals, mongooses, sloth bears, and marsh crocodiles
later drive to Kota.
Visit Kota – a popular city in Rajasthan lies along the banks of River Chambal later drive to
the holy city of Pushkar and visit Load Brahma Mandir – one of very few existing temples
dedicated to the Hindu creator-God Brahma built in 14th century, followed by visit to
Pushkar Tirth.
Early morning after breakfast visit the Udaipur followed by your drive to Chittorgarh en route
visiting Chittorgarh Fort – symbol of bravery of Rajput also an UNESCO world heritage site
Vijay Stambha – victory monument constructed by Mewar king to commemorate victory
over Mahmud Khilji and Queen Padmini’s Palace Upon arrival, check in at your hotel.
We visit City Palace – an architectural marvel. Then we enjoy boat ride to reach Jag
Mandir – palace built on island in Lake Pichola. Later we have free time for shopping. In
the evening, we enjoy a traditional music and dance show.
Early in the morning after the breakfast we proceed to Kumbhalgarh – one of the most
exotic Fort cities of India. Upon arrival, we visit the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort – the pride of
the Mewar Empire. The fort offers a superb bird’s eye view of the surroundings. The Fort’s
thick wall stretches 36 kms and many call this fort as the Indian equivalent to the Great
Wall of China.
Drive to Jodhpur the blue city, en-route visiting the sculpted Jain temples of Ranakpur. Stop
for lunch and continues drive to Jodhpur,
Visit the invincible Mehrangarh Fort followed by a visit to the Jaswant Thada, a graceful
marble cenotaph built in 1899 for Maharajah Jaswant Singh II, and cenotaphs of other
Maharajahs of Jodhpur and drive to Jaisalmer the Golden City.
Today we explore Jaisalmer City. We visit Golden Fort – a UNESCO world heritage site
. Later we visit Patwon ki Haweli Museum – Palace built in early 1800s, now a museum
featuring intricate carvings, It’s time to visit Kuldhara – an abandoned village believed to be
cursed. We then proceed to famous Sam Sand Dunes and get an opportunity to witness
the spectacular beauty of sandy terrain by taking joyful Camel Ride and view Red Orange
colour splash of sunset on horizon of desert. Later we enjoy a traditional Rajasthani Folk
Dance with dinner.
Drive this morning to Bikaner. On your arrival in Bikaner, Check-in at your hotel. In the noon
explore the Junagarh Fort – an impressive fort standing with all its regal glory as an
epitome of architectural brilliance. Balconies, gardens and kiosks etc. depicts a composite
architectural style influenced by culture. Here we see Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh
Mahal and Parachinar Museum and Sadual Museum.
After breakfast drive to Mandawa – a quaint little town in a heart of Shekhavati region
popularly known as open Air Art Gallery of Rajasthan. The town is replete with paved
Archways, Magnificent Havelis and Fortresses.
After breakfast drive to Jaipur the pink city. Visit visiting Hawa Mahal or the ‘Palace of
Winds,’ City Palace and the ancient observatory.
In the morning visit the mountain fortress of Amber, a superb example of Rajput architecture
with its complex of palaces, temples, and ornate apartments. Later, enjoy a tour of Jaipur
City,
Breakfast then drives to Delhi airport for departure as per your flight schedule.
